01 · Brand architecture

One club.
Two modes.

01 / Default

Competition

Match results, fixtures, rosters, training and recruitment. Night, Volt and Chalk. Bold type, unambiguous information.

02 / Heritage accent

Heritage

Naga-led posters, club culture and selected merchandise. Green, Gold and Night or White. A secondary mode, not a second brand.

02 · Wordmark system

Keep the wordmark recognisable.

  • Three lines. Always BANGKOK / LACROSSE / CLUB, as supplied.
  • Clear space. Leave at least the cap height of the C in CLUB on every side. Never squeeze it against a score, photo edge or sponsor logo.
  • Minimum size. Start at 160 px wide on screen or 35 mm in print, then check legibility in context.
  • Integrity. One colour. No stretching, re-spacing or effects.

The wordmark files are screenshot-derived traces. They keep the visible lettering but are not original vector masters. No standalone BLC monogram has been supplied.

03 · Illustration system

Protect the Naga character.

Keep its identity intact
Preserve the face, curls, scales, line relationships and original orientation. Recolour the whole one-colour artwork; never recolour individual features.
Use it with purpose
The Naga can lead a heritage poster or sit behind content as a quiet motif. Keep it away from important player details and key text.
Respect the source limit
The working Naga is traced from a 525 × 714 px extract. For large print, embroidery or manufacturing, replace it with original club artwork and approve a physical proof.

04 · Colour system

Colour with
a job to do.

  • Night #1E191B Base / panels
  • Volt #B7D531 Energy / emphasis
  • Chalk #F1F6D7 Scores / key text
  • White #FFFFFF Neutral / reverse
  • Naga Green #3AB649 Heritage base
  • Heritage Gold #FFC452 Heritage accent
  • Forest #143D32 Proposed kit / photo support

Suggested competition balance: mostly dark or photographic space, then pale information, then a focused lime accent. Don't use Volt, Green and Gold as equal, competing accents. These are sampled working RGB values, not print or textile specifications.

Contrast

  • Aa 10.39:1 Strong: Volt on Night
  • Aa 15.62:1 Strong: Chalk on Night
  • Aa 6.58:1 Strong: Night on Green
  • Aa 10.84:1 Strong: Chalk on Forest
  • Aa 2.64:1 Avoid for essential text: White on Green
  • Aa 1.67:1 Avoid for essential text: Gold on Green

Target at least 4.5:1 for normal text (WCAG 2.2, SC 1.4.3). Ratios describe flat colour pairs; over photographs, use a tested dark panel or overlay.

05 · Typography

Condensed, athletic, readable.

Headlines
Roboto Condensed Bold Italic, uppercase. Short phrases, usually one or two lines. Outline type is a secondary accent, never the only treatment for critical details.
Scores and data
Roboto Condensed Bold. Keep digits solid and very large. Use upright type for dates, opponents and player numbers.
Supporting text
Roboto Regular or Medium, sentence case. For Thai, use Noto Sans Thai with extra line height, and have a fluent club member review it.

A practical replacement system: the club's original display typeface has not been confirmed. 1080 px canvas starting sizes: headline 110–150 px, score 220–285 px, details 32–44 px.

06 · Photography and layout

Real people.
Real lacrosse.

Choose the moment

Prioritise visible play, preparation, teamwork or club community. Keep the ball, stick, face and decisive action readable when cropping.

Design around the subject

Use a dark panel or controlled overlay behind text. Put big scores in negative space. Don't cover a face just because a template allows it.

Protect authenticity

Use approved original club photos. Never invent match scenes, players, sponsors or trophies. Confirm permission for identifiable people.

1080 × 1350

Feed. 72 px inner margin; a clear headline, focal content and handle strip.

1080 × 1920

Story. Keep essential information roughly inside x 72–1008, y 250–1600.

1 → 4

Information order: what's happening; result, opponent or subject; date, place, detail; one call to action.

07 · Voice and copy

Sound like
a teammate.

Confident, welcoming and specific. Competitive without empty hype or unsupported claims.

Result
Final: Bangkok LC [score] – [score] [opponent]. [One factual match highlight.] Thanks to [opponent] and everyone who came out.
Recruitment
Curious about lacrosse in Bangkok? Message @bangkoklc to ask about current sessions, participation requirements and what to bring.
Training
Next session: [day, date], [time] ICT at [venue]. [Confirmed joining instructions.] Message @bangkoklc for the latest details.

Do

Use the full club name on first mention; Bangkok LC is the compact editorial name. Keep captions factual and alt text descriptive. State the date and timezone.

Avoid

Unverified "first" or "best" claims, invented trophies, unsupported inclusion promises, excessive exclamation marks and unexplained jargon. Never write "this Friday" in lasting content.

Before you print or publish

This is a working toolkit. The wordmark and Naga are traced from screenshots. For print, embroidery or merchandise, get original vector masters from the club and approve a physical proof. No Pantone or fixed CMYK match is claimed. For social posts, replace every placeholder, verify names, scores, dates, venues and permissions, then remove draft labels.
